Liam Robertson uncovers what could have been a robust Pilotwings developed by Factor 5 released on GameCube or Wii. The project looked to take the best of the series’ features such as specific missions and photography while traveling Earth uncovering new locations. The game would have featured IR head-tracking by wearing headgear such as glasses which would then show stereoscopic results directly on your television display as well as tilting the camera when playing in the first-person perspective. Another unique feature would have taken advantage of the Wii’s Forecast Channel to alter the time & weather in-game as the engine used had a day/night cycle. Check it out below.
