Last month, we reported on Nintendo’s official announcement trailer for the event as well as how to obtain tickets to the event for anyone in New York. While it’s always exciting to be at a live event with Nintendo taking the stage, the majority of people interested will be tuning in via live streams. If you’re in need of the where & when, we have you covered.
The Nintendo World Championships will begin at 2 p.m. PST / 5 p.m. EST.
Nintendo will be live-streaming their event on their website and their broadcasting channels via YouTube and Twitch. You can get to any of them by clicking on any of the following links:
- http://nwc.nintendo.com – Official Nintendo website
- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TaiQcqR8vps – Nintendo’s YouTube channel
- http://twitch.tv/Nintendo – Nintendo’s Twitch channel
The event will be hosted by Andrea Rene with play-by-play commentary by Jordan Kent to breakdown the action from 16 qualifiers and 8 special invitees as it happens.
Nintendo has been promoting the Nintendo World Championships 2017 as well as the Switch quite diligently so it is possible that we may get some surprise announcements during this event.
