Worldwide video game publisher and developer Ubisoft held a live stream which began this morning and ongoing for several hours where renowned artist BossLogic, who is also widely known for his talented artwork done for MARVEL Entertainment, was showcasing new and also the first official artwork for the next installment in the Assassin’s Creed franchise. Taking Twitch, YouTube and other social media by storm, a number of people have gathered and joined in to witness a piece of art come to life from beginning to end. Upon BossLogic finishing up, it cut to the reveal of the official title for Ubisoft’s next big game in the series, Assassin’s Creed Valhalla.
As expected to see the Creed emblem show up in its new style, it does so well with its weaving of knots and axes fitting to the Nordic theme. It comes as less of a surprise as this confirms the Viking setting that has been rumored for a long while now, but an official announcement is excited nonetheless.
In the piece of art, we get a glimpse of the main character prominently taking center focus while on both left and right sides him depict different environmental settings and what expected gameplay scenarios. Sturdy ships by the numbers on sea and hard-hitting glorious battles on land. But that’s not all. Ubisoft has revealed that a reveal trailer will be coming to us tomorrow, April 30, 8 a.m. PST. Keep a lookout for more on Assassin’s Creed Valhalla very soon.
